5 Years – with No Strings Attached

Yes, you read that right. All new Honda Outboard motors purchased for recreational use from an authorized Honda Marine dealer will be warranted against defects in material or workmanship for five (5) years from date of purchase. No catches. No strings. It’s that simple.
A Real, Factory Direct Warranty

The True 5 warranty is offered and fully backed by Honda Marine for the life of the warranty. It’s not a 3 rd party “extended service” contract, like most of our competitors offer.

There’s a big difference: the third party warranty companies often are more concerned with limiting claim payouts than with satisfying your service needs.
Non-Declining

True 5 coverage is the same on the last day of coverage as it is on the first. This is not like "pro-rated" warranties that offer decreasing coverage as the warranty approaches its end date.

With Honda’s True 5 Warranty, your motor is covered from top to bottom – from the first day to the last day of your warranty.
Fully Transferable

Selling your boat? No problem. The original engine warranty still applies, even if it changes owners.
