Honda Marine engines are engineered to promote ease of operation in all aspects of ownership.
- Changing the oil and applying a little grease at key points will take care of most of your annual maintenance. (See your owner’s manual for details on your model’s specific maintenance schedule.)
- Oil is easily checked and filled just like a car. A spin on filter is simple to change and keeps things clean (BF8 and larger).
And because of their cleaner, cooler-running 4-stroke design, Honda outboards require less maintenance and service than 2-stroke engines.
